Whew! Long time no post...

We have been busy getting ready for our big spring launch which will have coordinating pieces for both boy and girl. Here is a little sneak peek of what we've been going through....

Lori will be at the All Saints Holiday Bazaar this Saturday, Nov 8, from 9am to 5pm at 3847 NE Glisan in Portland, OR. There will many items at low prices as we are closing out our inventory to make room for spring. There will also be some of our new accessory items just in time for Christmas.

Mister Judy at Crafty Mama's Bazaar this weekend!

Mister Judy will be at the Crafty Mama's Bazaar at Milagros in Portland, OR. The sale is from 11am-3pm. Milagros is located at 5433 NE 30th Avenue, Portland 97211.
We will have lot's of great deals and a fantastic sale on older merchandise. Please come and visit me at our table!

Our New Tooth Fairy Pillow Works!

My son just lost his front tooth in a timely manner to test our latest product: The Tooth Fairy Pillow. We are pleased to announce that the tooth fairy did visit and left two coins in the corner pocket in place of the tooth.


The pillows include the following poem, written by our father, which my son enjoyed hearing the night he placed his tooth in the pillow:

Place your tooth here at close of day,
In this pocket tucked away

And with the coming of the dawn
You can be sure it will be gone.

On tiny wings, adept at flight,
A fairy will come in the night

And when the sun next shows its face
A coin or two will take its place.



Our tooth fairy pillows are available at Cassis in downtown Boise as well as on our website.

First Publicity!!!

We are so excited! We have a tiny mention in a listing for Cassis in Boise, ID. This was featured in the Treasure Magazine that comes in the Idaho Statesman. It is small, but for us, it is the first time we have been listed in a publication.

On another note, Holly posted the winners to her Inspiration Giveaway on Decor8. Our link is listed fairly high on the list!

Updated Quilt Images

We have never been 100% happy with our quilt photos on the site. My spouse recently acquired a SLR digital camera. The lighting was gorgeous last night before our thunder and lightening storm.

New Product for Spring

We have the boys shirts up on the site for sale. They are adorable and very manly.



... and for your tea party needs, we have also added some new linen sets...



Please note that the china tea set is not for sale. We do have a couple of vintage tea sets that we take with us to shows, but we haven't figured out yet, how to package them thoroughly for shipment. It would be a shame for one to arrive in pieces and shards. We'll keep you posted on that for the future.

Been away for awhile...

We've been busily working on a new line with wonderful new fabrics for Fall 2008. We are trying to get ourselves on a retail timeline and start expanding beyond Portland and Boise. We do have a few pieces coming for late spring/summer. One is our new Boys Short Sleeve Shirt.

Sample Sale

We have a new retailer in the Portland area!

We are thrilled that SpielWerk is now carrying Mister Judy accessories! They are located at 7956 SE 13th Ave in Sellwood in Portland, OR. There is not a battery operated item in the place. All the toys are beautifully made or educational in nature. They also carry classic toys such as dominoes and pick-up-sticks. They teach classes for the small set too. The website is live!

We did it! Our site is up and running for web sales and general perusing! We are very excited and pleased with our work. We built the entire site ourselves. Please come and explore Mister Judy.

Final Touches

We are adding the final touches to our site today and will be live shortly. It is scary and exciting. We hope that we have dotted all of our digital i's and crossed all of our virtual t's. I'm sure we will find out shortly.

Website Update

We are getting closer... and it's so exciting! We are doing all of it ourselves, and it is such a sense of accomplishment to figure things out and get exactly what we want. We have some gorgeous photography that we will be uploading soon.

Wow... has it really been 6 months!

I can't believe our blog has been quiet for 6 months! That borders on neglect.
We have been busily working on our website and getting ready for the Mom Shop sale happening here in Portland on Aug 18. We will post some sneak peeks of things as the date approaches.

Trunk Show is Open for Business!

Our sign is hanging out front, and we are open today from noon to 4pm for any last minute Christmas shopping.

Trunk Show!

For those of you in Portland who missed the Kiddie Disco last Saturday, I am having an open house two days this week for a Mister Judy Trunk Show.
We have beautiful quilts and accessories and clothing. There are also a few pieces left from the spring line on sale.

Successful Trunk Show!

We had a very successful Trunk Show on Saturday. The house was beautifully decorated and there was great food and wine. We had some good sales and lots of wonderful complements.
